Visual Star Trek (sometimes called VTrek after its executable file's name) is a strategy game in the style of other Star Trek-inspired games like EGA Trek and Turbo Trek. Your goal is to destroy the Klingons, and you do so by traveling around and fighting 'em, while occasionally mining planets and getting repairs and such. There is no included documentation and this is NOT my kind of game so I am not going to go through the trial-and-error process of learning it, but from what I've read it's highly regarded within this niche subgenre, partially due to its mouse-based controls and general UI.
